When material leaves your browser
Reading, authored exercises, template editing, search, imports and manual review run in your browser. Only after you confirm submission and start Jev processing is each selected text item sent through the CoolJev server on Vercel to TypeSafe. Filenames and the entire source file are not sent with each model request.
The workspace does not automatically save originals in browser storage or a site database. Download a project to keep progress. Stopping prevents later tasks, but submitted material may still be processed. Application logs do not contain request bodies or passwords; hosting providers may process ordinary network request information.
Accounts, credits and request recovery
Registration uses a username and password without collecting email. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Sign-in uses an HttpOnly session cookie lasting up to seven days. Email recovery is unavailable during the beta; use a unique password.
Cloudflare stores account records, credit counters, keyed network hashes, request fingerprints and structured model results for abuse prevention, debits and duplicate-request recovery. It does not receive original text. Daily records are periodically deleted, normally within about three days; account records remain for future sign-ins. Provider backups and infrastructure records may have different retention periods.
Analytics
The production domain uses Google Analytics 4 for page views and fixed feature actions. Google tags may use cookies and device identifiers; Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Custom events exclude originals, search terms, filenames, passwords and API keys. Blocking analytics does not disable core workspace features.
External services and downloaded code
TypeSafe handles submitted material under its terms; this site does not promise zero provider retention. Downloaded offline examples make no model calls, while live mode sends material directly to TypeSafe. Confirm your right to process the content before submitting it. The site has no Jev API-key input field.

Who Is the Undercover game
The game uses an essential session cookie to authorize access and a keyed IP hash to limit daily starts; raw IP addresses are not stored. Game state, statements, model requests and responses, and action records are retained until 7 days after the latest deal, supporting continuation and replay. Statements and public clues are sent to TypeSafe Jev. A completed game log is downloadable only with its session cookie.
Between the Lines dialogue game
Responses you type are sent with the scene context to TypeSafe Jev for judging, so do not include real names, contact details or other personal information. The game uses an essential HttpOnly session cookie and shares the Undercover daily allowance, counted by a keyed IP hash; raw IP addresses are not stored. The server keeps the game, your responses, judgments and scores for continuation and replay for up to 7 days; starting a new game replaces the old record.
Web fonts
The site uses fonts already installed on your device. No fonts are loaded from Google Fonts or other third-party font services, so browsing sends no font requests to third parties.
Suggestion form and email
The project suggestion form uploads nothing to this site. It only opens your email app with a prefilled draft. If you send it, we receive your email address and message and use them only to review the suggestion and reply.
